Not Really Goodbye!

Merry Christmas Eve my Friends! I just wanted to pop in really quick to tell you that I am so very grateful for your friendship, kindness and loyalty over the last three years. I thought it would be much easier to let it all go with the thought of events and online shopping ahead of me but the thing I loved the most about my store was getting to put my peepers on all of you day in and day out. I loved hearing your stories and sharing your joy and even your sorrows. I loved being your friend! So, even though today is short and sweet (it is Christmas eve after all) I will be here often! I can see this spot becoming our new hangout and I have all sorts of ideas up my sleeve! So, for now, have a wonderful Christmas and I will talk to you in a few days! Much Love! Stacie

Just Shoot!

Ok, so we are 4 days into December and how is picture taking coming along? Are you capturing the moments big and small? Are you taking a few minutes each day to jot down some thoughts about the day? Consider typing them in a word doc and writing it up later when you have the time to play. Remember, everything matters. Not just the tree trimming or the party hosting or the cookie frosting but the moment to moment days of December. P.S. Don't forget to keep an eye on Tim's Tags!!! WOW! December 1st is finally Here!

And in stamper, scrapper, crafter world that means the internet is exploding with ideas! The one many of us have been waiting for the most is Tim Holtz and his 12 Tags of Christmas and if Day 1 is any indication of what the next 12 days holds...WOWZERS!!! An Idea!

So, I was thinking about December Daily because I am fixin' to get it all together and I was thinking about the fact that I have done it for the last 4 years but have yet to completely complete an entire year. That is a cryin shame. So, here is what I am thinking...cell phone pics! My failure each year comes in the way of pictures. I can get the album all completed and ready to go but as we near "the day" I forget to take pictures and then I am sad when I look at Ali Edward's (Queen of all things December Daily) and see that she never forgets a stinkin day and even though she tells me 187 times not to worry about it I still want a picture every day. So here is my challenge to all of you...try to take a pic every day with your cell phone! Sure you can take them with your fancy camera too but don't think that you need to get out your fancy camera and set up the tripod every day in order to document December. Just point and shoot every day with that cell phone. I WILL do it and I am going to share it right here just to make myself do it! Come January we can talk about how to put it all together! Are you with me?!?

No we won't try and open on Thursday in order to get the first crack at all you Black Friday shoppers but we sure will be here for you when you have fought the crowds, got your smokin good deals and have a few extra dollars left to come and see me! I sure am! Registration for the next Scrappin' Retreat has begun! We are traveling to the beach this time so we can accomodate more people but if this trip is anything like the last one it will fill up fast! $25 Deposit holds your spot. Here are the details: When: January 28th-31st, 2010 (Thursday night until Sunday afternoon) Loction: Sea Mist Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC Accomodations: Ocean Front Studio with Kitchenette, double occupancy rooms Meals: Dinner Friday and Saturday night, full breakfast each morning, snacks and drinks and goodies along the way! Cost: $250 if you arrive on Thursday night, $225 if you arrive on Friday after breakfast. Single occupancy rooms add $100.
